Guide - RTC Alarm Configuration-N3160 Bios Setting


RTC Alarm, Real-time clock alarm, is a feature that can be used to allow a computer to 'wake up' after shut down to execute tasks every day or on a certain day. It can sometimes be found in the 'Power Management' section of a motherboard's BIOS setup. However, most mini pc don't have this function, instead only wake on power function. Step 1. Turn on the PC by press the On/Off switch



Step 2. Press "DEL" key on keyboard before the PC went into Windows and going to BIOS. Select "Systeme Power Management" using the arrow key on keyboard, press "Enter" to go wake on RTC alarm setting.
Step 3. Change setting of "Wake sytem from S5" to [Fixed Time]; change " Wake up day of month" to the month you want, "0" stand for every month; set exact hour you want for "Wake up hour"; set exact minute you want for "Wake up minute"; set exact second you want for "Wake up second". Press F4 to save setting and exit bios.
Now once you turn off the mini pc, it will auto power on at the time you've just set.
